Only the most eligible men and beautiful women are accepted on to the site and as part of your registration you're required to submit three photos for inspection. You can't view or edit your own profile until your pictures have been approved. Considering this, we ran a search and found it a little odd that most of the profiles in the results had no photos available. Either an abnormally significant amount of people joined at the same time we did or the site hosts are a little slow at approving people... we were sure you wouldn't get away with no photo at all, but we were approved within a couple of hours, so this can't be the explanation. Search results show the photo, age and location. Not all photos are model shoots and it's clear not all of the people registered on the site are model specification. This is good if you're looking for something less superficial, but doesn't entirely fit in with the advertisement when you join. We ran a number of searches based on age and it's clear that most of the people registered on this site are in their twenties and early thirties although there's a very good number of people in their forties and fifties too. Profiles on CashCats.com are clearly laid out if not a little bland. People complete an About Me section letting you know why they're there (dating, networking, etc.) and telling you about their appearance (eyes, hair, height, body style). Next is lifestyle and how physically active they are, whether they drink and smoke, where they live and if they have children... star sign is also included in this section. There's another convoluted section called Heritage, which tells you which languages the person speaks, which nationality they are and their ethnic background. Professional lifestyle is tackled separately and asks about education and employment. Personality traits are listed and, although we haven't been able to edit our own profile, we're sure there must be a list to choose from because numerous profiles have the same items. Some of the choices are spontaneous, outgoing and playful and activities include dining out, reading and traveling. As well as favorite activities there is also an interests section, which includes options like Toys, My favorite cuisine and What I like to read. We felt all of the profile categories were a little mixed up and could have done with re-ordering in to more sensible categories, but they tell you what you need to know. If you want to get really specific you can search for women who match exactly what you're looking for. For example, you can search for B4s, which are girls with blue eyes, blonde hair and big breasts, "Asian persuasion" and "Old enough to know what I want (30 or over)". Women can search for men with toys, such as sports cars or mega millionaires. ModelFriends isn't as exciting as it says it is. The design of the site is rather dull, there are too many people without photos and it lacks fun features. If you're a model it's maybe worth registering just for the possibility of a free photoshoot if you win Model of the Month, but this is the only part of the site that made an impact.
