Once you're in the site it becomes incredibly busy and there's nothing to direct your eye to one place, so we had a look through the menu in order. You start off with your own profile, which is viewed in a new window. The layout is tidy and we went in to Edit Profile to see how easy it would be. There are five additional tabs as well as sign up information: Basic Information, Physical Appearance, Lifestyle, Professional Life and Interests. Basic information includes star sign, relationship status, faith and languages, which is a perhaps a small and peculiar set of indicators! The remainder of the profile tabs have information that really gets to the important facts about a person and has some interesting questions, asked with a twist, such as How would you describe your sense of humor? Answers include Campy, Goofy, Obscure and Slapstick and they're explained - Campy is "The cheesier, the better". Under Professional Life you not only find out what the person does, but you find out what their schedule is - are they a nine to five worker, their own boss, a homemaker or on temporary leave? This gives you a great indication of how often they're likely to be able to see you and whether or not your schedules are likely to clash. Users are asked what they like to do for fun and what the last thing was they read. These are very personal choices and immediately tell you if you're likely to get on or whether you're worlds apart. Overall, there's a good range of questions to get to know people well enough to decide if you want to get in contact. If you upgrade your membership you can look out for events you might want to attend and get chatting in the forum. We didn't upgrade, so we can't tell you just how good these features are, but since you can join for free and get to know the site well, you'll come to know what to expect. As we were checking out the main menu things suddenly took a step up with some extra profile Plugins.. The first asks about sexual activity: Have you ever had cybersex?, What are your thoughts on anal sex?, and What's the largest number of people you've shared a sexual encounter with in one session? Considering the conservative approach to the site so far, we were a little surprised to come across this section! There are more Plugins, including Sexual Interests, Fantasies and Sexual Accessories. The final one is Physical Stuff, which returns to standard questioning about What's your best feature?, Do you exercise?, and What do you think about tattoos? There's only one risque questions, which asks, Do you wear underwear? We like the fact that these sections are Plugins. Of course when you're looking for a mate these questions can be important, but for those who don't want sexually related questions included in their profile and aren't ready to be this intimate online it's great to have the choice as to whether you use this information. Search results are a little cluttered on the page and we retrieved quite a number who hadn't been active recently. If you choose to look at someone's whole profile it opens in a new window, which can get a little tiresome. Profiles have a rating system and where others users have completed this it can be useful, but we'd rather have seen more profiles with full details rather than only the basics. DateWealthyWomen.com seems to give it it's all, it has loads of features and looks good, but there's a little extra sparkle missing and we can't quite put our finger on what it is. it might be too well constructed and needs to add a little more atmosphere... it seems to lack community spirit. However, the site only charges a minimal fee to keep spammers away if you do join, so it's worth trialing the site and then paying monthly if you want to continue with it.
