The design for the search results is much improved. You see what type of member the person is and a tagline that they've written about themselves. An especially handy feature is a five star rating showing how compatible this person is to your search specifications. Mini profile information shown in these search results is age, location, what they're looking for, income and when they last visited the site. You can add this person to your hot list, send them a flirt or invite them as a friend if you want to keep it more neutral. You're also told if the member is new. We found that the majority of profiles in our search results had good photos, which were profiles and well-lit close ups. However, when we went in to full profiles the all-black view seemed cold and unromantic - photos looked more like mug shots and information more like data. Of course whether you like this design or not is personal choice, but it certainly stands out from other dating sites, which are generally much softer to look at. There appears to be an option to change the colours on your site view, but we couldn't get this to work. Members have a section where they can add free text to describe themselves and what they're looking for, which is really helpful and revealing in terms of whether or not you're likely to get on. From their profile you can email the person, block them, add them to your hot list, flirt, refer them to a friend, send a voice message or simply add them to your friends network. You see a compatibility score out of 100, which is really helpful, alongside a handy checklist with ticks and crosses for areas where you match or don't match. We also like the fact that you can move straight from the profile you're currently viewing to the next profile or to the one you were previously viewing. There's a video section on MillionaireMate.com, which is a great tool for getting to know people better. This way, you can see what they look and sound like in real time, rather than rely on one photo taken from one angle and what they tell you about themselves. You can only use this feature if you're a premium, paying member. You can also receive SMS updates. There aren't a huge number of features on this site but it does seem like an active site. It's put together in a technical rather than a user-friendly way and it seems much more masculine than neutral. We feel this site will appeal more to men, especially those who are looking for love and are fed up of whimsical dating sites designed for women.
