Editor's Verdict: Rich Soul Mate is actually powered by Millionaire Match, our No . 1 choice in this category. As such, the site has all the same great features as Millionaire Match, however it is not nearly as popular. Millionaires are verified on this site, although verification is not compulsory. These members are highlighted in a different color in search results. Annoyingly, full profiles open in a new window. We also clicked on the member's photo a few times in the hope we could see a larger picture, but although we were taken to a photo gallery, pictures stayed a small size and we couldn't enlarge them. Profiles are well laid out with pictures and basic information at the top and more varied and in depth information underneath if you decide you're interested in the person. There are quite a lot of areas relating to hobbies, interests, dislikes and questions that let the member write their own words. We found these sections really helpful because you get to know the person properly, rather than rely on the attributes selected by them from a list. We had a nose around the forums and they seem to be pretty active with lots of recent posts. There's a nice little section at the top where new members can introduce themselves and there's a prominent comments and suggestion area, which suggests to us thatthe site owners are keen to know how they can make their site better. We found it encouraging that the most popular thread was called Romance with nearly 29,000 posts in this section over the space of, roughly, a year. Topics are very varied, it really is an open forum and a place to exchange thoughts on dating and relationships. Having a look at the blogs page we were pleased to see yet more chit-chat with over 7,500 blogs and more than 58,000 postings (blogs and responses). Members are definitely reading this stuff, with the older threads having hundreds of views. It does look like a second forum to us though, rather than a personal blog. All these communication tools are great for getting to know people and to see who's on your wavelength and who's not. You also get your own personal email, which is well structured. You can perform all normal email tasks within your site inbox and we like the fact that the site owners warn members about giving out their real email addresses and to consider site safety.
