Editor's Verdict:

WealthyMen.com shares styling features with some other popular wealthy dating site designs. Slick fashionable graphics and the use of reverse formatting (light text over a dark background),  gives it  a very contemporary look.  The welcome page (where you register) features a gallery of generously sized and good quality photos.  These appear to represent a cross-section of members giving the impression of a young and active base.   Options are presented to sign up or if you want to test the waters first, you can perform a search.  The parameters offered at this stage are minimal with options for sex, age, and location.  The listings show a page of high quality photos of members from  the search zone. 

As a visitor (non-registered user), you can see the first page of members' listings after performing a search. (Venturing beyond the first page will land you at the registration page). The members' listings you see are good sized photos with info. that states the level of membership, username, and their location.  The photos themselves are among the very best in quality, with some appearing to be professionally taken.  We didn't notice any distorted photos, (as is occasionally seen in dating galleries when the aspect ratiop of a thumbnail has not been reset properly).

The site's modern graphic approach merges very nicely with the simplistic layout for smooth, user friendly functionality.  The site itself is a beautiful backdrop for the outstanding photos.  Our compliments to the designers; it's a pleasure to view.  Navigation is consistent with the look.  It's predictable and intuitive while delivering logical results. 

The  WealthyMen.com homepage is a members profile page. This makes sense for updating your profile or adding photos.  It's from here that you can begin finding those with whom you share common ground. The site info. on the page indicated there were over 20,000 listings available in our chosen search demographic.

Anyone with dating site experience is aware of the importance of a good search engine and its menus. How well the available parameters narrow a search without going too far is the measure of that quality.   WealthyMen features an advanced search option available to all members that permits searching by five selectable parameters;  age,  race, religion, location, and relation desired.  That's as simple as it can get and yet will cover most needs.  The site realizes that further exploration of a members personal preferences will surface in their profile anyway.  We endorse this way of thinking.  It simplifies the process and allows a member to eliminate unsuitable candidates as they discover them.

Our search turned up an acceptable number of nice looking members with good quality photos.  The featured listings were made up mostly of local members with the remainder from within the distance specified in the search (in 25 mile increments).  The prospects retrieved from a relatively narrow set of parameters was encouraging in terms of results, although the fashion models with the glamor shots were notably absent from the pages (it had to end sometime).  The listing gave member type, user name and location.  Clicking an individual search result listing took us to a page with some additional member  'about me' info, and their relation interests.  Alongside the members info. was a section of graphics promoting membership upgrades spelling out those benefits, (primarily e-mail contacting ability).

If you have an interest in your search prospects and want to initiate contact, you will have to choose a premium membership in some form.  WealthyMen.com offers two Premium memberships types.  The major difference is contactability.  Silver allows you to respond to messages.  Gold lets you use e-mail to initiate contact or respond to interesting members.  A Trial membership is offered at the time of writing that may prove useful to new members in determining the sites overall usefulness.

Premium members will find a sensibly set-up customer service area.  All of what's here will be accessed and used at some point.  The common reasons for needing help like password resending, renewals, and cancellations are handled here.  It's well-thought-out, as is everything here.  Each section is structured for offering what you need regarding helpful info. and options.  Customer service has both e-mail and an 800 number (for US).  Their cancellation area looks like they actually attempted to keep that process simple rather than making it as obscure and inaccessible as possible.  This is another example of a well-considered  and executed feature. 

For a member that knows what they want, this is a lean, fit site for make interesting relationships. The site has few extraneous features.  There are no 'flirts' , chat, or Instant Messenger features here.  Basically, it's a site that offers a member database and a communication system (e-mail) used to make contact. WealthyMen.com is a good site for those who know what they want from a portal like this.  It's good value for those in that given mindset.  If you're not sure, perhaps a good option is the trial membership.  It gives you a chance to experience all that Gold membership offers while not having to commit to it. 

We feel that this site is not for everyone, however, as the site doesn't try to be all things to all wealthy daters.  For those who are newer to this category or want a full-featured site, this may not the best choice. We feel this site is honestly set up to service a clientele that is experienced and has a purposeful approach regarding wealthy dating.  This is the type of site that will serve their needs well.  For them it's good value and we can see them holding their position as one of the top ten sites in this category for some time.
